How do I start the Federal Loan process?

Log in to the Student Portal: https://my.lfgsm.edu/ to get the Federal loan process started. 

1. Once in the Student Portal, locate the 'Where Do You Need To Go' section
2. Click on 'Billing & Financial Aid' to continue  
3. Find 'Financial Aid' and click to continue
4. Now click on the 'Student Loan Checklist' and complete all the steps to start the Federal loan process.
